Systemic racism is a lie. It does not exist. And the left

does not want to do anything about the racism that remains in individuals.

Like most issues of the day, the left needs to pretend that racism is rampant and that blacks are oppressed by evil whites. They need "racism" so they can pander to "victims".

Imagined victimization begets pandering.
Pandering begets black votes, It does not beget resentment.
Votes beget liberal pols and liberal politicians.
Liberals beget greater poverty and more divisive policies.
Poverty and division beget imagined victimization.

A racist nation does not have affirmative action.
A racist nation does not pander to minorities.
A racist nation does not excuse bad and even criminal behaviour by minorities.
A racist nation does not rename the park across from the white house, Black Lives Matter Park (or whatever).
A racist nation does not have policies specifically for minorities.
A racist nation does not have welfare programs that disproportionately help minorities.

Remember when we wanted a color blind society? Well we achieved that in large measure from a legal and government standpoint decades ago.

But blacks remained at the bottom of the socio economic scale. So color blind didn't work. Being non racist is no longer ok. We must be anti racist.

Whites must genuflect, apologize and beg for forgiveness.

Maybe the problem isn't white oppression.

Maybe the problem is liberal pandering, excusing, lowering standards that has led to illegitimacy, crime and poverty getting worse.

Typically, the left causes the problem and blames the right. They tell the blacks how much they love and care for them and THIS TIME FOR SURE, they will fix everything if the blacks will just vote for the socialists.

Hey, maybe we'll even have a black VP.
