A couple of articles on new commit Grace Slaughter

Sounds like a really high quality recruit and her coach says she's a really good kid. Averaged over 20 points a game as a freshman and was named class 4 all state. Hit 6 3-pointers in one game, which is pretty good for a 6'1" freshman forward. Was named co-player of the year with Jada Williams for eastern Jackson County (part of the KC metro area). Williams is another very highly ranked freshman with an MU offer. Looks like they both played together on a junior regional all-star team in a national tournament they won, and are friends. Maybe MU will have a chance to get Williams as well, but a long way to go since they still have 3 years of high school ahead of them.
