Only to make people like you feel better. It’s not needed unless you want to say mob violence should be punishable by 10 years in prison.

The funny part is I can see this effecting brown people more then white people since a lot of the mob violence attacks seem to be perpetuated by gangs. Unless you feel their violence is not based on the victims skin color or they can’t be racist.
