I disagree with you. The vast majority of these athletes are as distant from these issues as me.
This isn't an exclusively racial issue. It's a police/gvmt/law issue. I don't see the athletes or protesters lamenting the death of hispanics or whites at the hands of cops, do you?
y'all should listen more to pickle than you do, but you won't.
It's more about blacks as a percentage because of demographics, poverty rates, drug enforcement laws and police presence in these communities.
Treating this as "systemic racism" utterly obfuscates the real, inherent issue.
gvmt force and enforcing victimless crime will always result in force against the disenfranchised and impoverished and powerless - regardless of skin tone.
