A few issues with police

1. They are put in a terrible situation where they must go out and enforce laws where there was no victim...up to a point where they may have to kill someone

2. Some see that as their service and love that power that is given to them, and use it to every ability they can legally.

3. Some further use that power with lots of bias. He is a buddy with you, so you get away with it (lets your church have a gathering that is against he law)….but if a group of black kids is out on the street, he will go enforce that law....but then, like Trump, claim he is about law and order, when he really is not.

And then you have like we had in Minneapolis where the police were protecting State buildings, while private businesses were being burned and looted with no police to be found because they were not "priority". Now, we have two things...some increase in police protection of private property...but at the expense of having a curfew that assumes guilt for everyone...but still not enough resources, so now these owners are bringing together their own security forces to protect those stores (with some of them being arrested for violating the curfew order).

That is the problem with the police state, not necessarily a police individual.
