And those false labels prevent us from identifying the people who really are orchestrating this whole thing.
Not African-Americans. Not Black Lives Matter. Not ANTIFA. Not Millenials. Not the mainstream media. Not Mayors & Police Chiefs & Sheriffs.
Though each of these groups contribute members to the overall effort, the real label that sticks is: LIBERAL.
Every single action you see in front of you is very simply explained by looking at the talking points of the modern liberal:
1. Police brutality must stop. Should it? I thought the threat of brutality WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE POLICE. Now, is it out of control? Is it even a problem right now in the United States? This utterly false liberal talking point isn't made more true by a single horrifying George Floyd snuff film. THAT video, as vile as it is, does not create a national trend.
2. African Americans are treated unfairly by police. Really? Police deploy where crime happens.
3. Systemic Racism exists in America and 'keeps people down' - just a liberal talking point and certainly not a new one.
4. America's shameful history regarding slavery means white people today should continue to feel guilt and should 'apologize' to black Americans. Is that true? Why would a white American today apologize for something that happened 150 years ago and for which 700,000 Americans have already died? They shouldn't, it's just another liberal talking point.
5. Reparations are due. Black Americans are OWED. Is that true? Do Black Americans today deserve PAYMENT because of something that ended 150 years ago. Freedom and the Right to Vote apparently is not enough. Numerous social entitlement programs that keep neighborhoods going through joblessness apparently aren't enough. And 'appropriate' White shame means that payments ought to begin and continue until when? When the shame runs out?
6. Black men and women are not given the same 'status' in the United States of America as white men and women. There are far more white men and women in EVERY ROLE in America. From executives, to engineers, to middle managers, to architects, designers, construction workers, janitors - IT DOESN'T MATTER. All the choice jobs in America go FIRST to white people and THEN to black people (if at all). This is the basis of WHITE PRIVILEGE.
Is this true? Do (mostly white) business people give all the good jobs to 'fellow' mostly white people? Or do those jobs go to the most qualified people? And even if that were true, what's the solution? Should random African Americans be selected off the street and made CEOs, middle managers, architects and engineers? Is a 'solution' simply a matter of aggressive Affirmative Action? Any person who lives in the workaday world knows how incredibly DIFFICULT (whether mentally, physically or both) every single job is. The hours are long, the circumstances are challenging, and even with GOOD PEOPLE in most positions businesses still go down in flames regularly. The idea that jobs are some sort of prize given to the recipient is that of a child, and the musical chairs reshuffling of Aggressive Affirmative Action would damage businesses, quickly ending jobs for whole groups of people. Just another pie in the sky non-actionable liberal talking point.
7. Looting = Reparation. Given America's shameful lack of 'real solutions' on items 5 & 6 - are we not forced to stand back, in times like these, when an apparent justification for anger, recrimination and REVENGE seems warranted and just let things take their 'natural course'? After all, these people ARE OWED.
You want to criticize the theft and the destruction of personal property? Go ahead, but we 'all know' what that means: you're a RACIST. And probably a closet White Supremacist too. Because unless you agree with ALL of these liberal talking points, that's THE ONLY THING YOU CAN BE.
Conservatism so far has had NO ROLE in these proceedings. Mostly conservatives have STOOD DOWN, hoping the police or the National Guard or maybe Trump will come around and enforce the law. Or maybe we're all hoping that this thing 'will just burn out.'
And maybe it will.
But you can bet that with LIBERALS working together at all levels to orchestrate, coordinate and do everything in their power to MAXIMIZE the destruction of the United States of America, it will burn for as long as they can possibly keep it burning.
ALL OF THIS IS LIBERALISM IN ACTION.
And the reality is every bit as disgusting and criminal as the talking points that drive it.
