You didn't learn your history. Those people were already slaves, taken from their homes by rival tribes, who in turn sold them to slave merchants on the coast. No force was required on the part of Yankee slave ship Captains. They purchased groups of slaves, who were already in chains. No Americans traveled into the interior and captured free Africans from their villages. That is a myth.
