1) I keep hearing the protesters want to get "their message
out there"
its an empty emotional platitude
The question is -what do they want specifically.
No one is saying cops should kill people (well no mentally unchallenged idiot that is)
2 The welfare state is the underlying problem to all of this.
a) the welfare state creates a permanent criminal class.
b) the criminal class is violent
this leads to deaths at the hands of police and yes
some of them are at the hands of abusive racist cops, but not many and not any statistical realism.
so whats the solution? No one has a real answer
3) part of the problem is that cops are not seen as
part of the community, but particularly in poor communities as an occupying force. Poor black communities need beat cops and not just one or two
4) what does the black community REALLY want?
do they want to be run by criminals? or do they want some law and order. I think of all the young children injured or killed by gunfire, no body who ever gets punished for.
5) the outside agitators and looters and assaulters
need to be treated much more harshly than the locals
in cases like this
6) techniques that are not approved for restraint
(such as the neck kneel) should be grounds for immediate dismissal and possibly other charges
7) wathhed CNN some black chick in SAnta Monica went on a tirade and actually asked "where were you when the KKK was burning things down?" Jesus lady you and I and pretty much nobody (if a single person) in America was even born.
8) dispersing the crowd before they form seems to be the most effective crowd control I've seen
9) Biden is really blowing a perfect opportunity
but perhaps in the end his smartest move is not to
say anything stupid. A ringing endorsement for who is probably the next Prez :(
10) the racists on this board get so giddy with racial unrest, its totally disgusting
