What some blacks think about all this "protest".

Not surprised really. I have a feeling they represent many older blacks.
As an aged black couple we have known for about a decade or more that our younger fellow blacks have utterly lost their way. Looting and burning down fellow brothers and sisters homes and business's? Fake black folk; that's who these people are! They don't represent us. Their lawlessness, misdirection, devoid of vision, zero faith in their lives, lack of positive role models and not a bit of postive solidarity is quite striking. Stunning really. This isn't whom we are from my generation to ones before us. This isn't the age old struggle. This isn't where we came from up from slavery but it is where we are saddly going. We are retired now so do your all's thing. This is the world they are creating for themselves. This is “NOT” our legacy from our struggle before you. As older black folk, we want absolutely no part of any of this on both sides of the spectrum. We have regressed as a people. We find it shocking and alarming that our fellow black folks every time an atrocity is committed and perpetuated by police (which is f'ed up and that needs to be addressed as well) on one of us we burn and destroy our “own” neighborhoods and business's. What is that even about huh? That's just plain BIZARRE!
This whole mob of miscreants is cowardice plain and simple by every single “violent” demonstrator and is by far worse then the original act. We are putting the chains back on our wrists with this kind of stupidity. What are they doing? This chaos helps NOBODY! How is change supposed to be spawned in such ways. Violence begats more violence. Kicking the can of hate down the road of tragedy is pointless. No wonder the skinheads and white supremacists think we are less then intelligent. Oh wow, we sure showed the “man”? 🙄😢. One of our brothers and/or sisters gets murdered so in response we blow our own brains out. That's brilliant!
