Well, I disagree with your blame game. We are on opposite sides of the political aisle and I see the incentives for inflating the numbers, esp to justify the lockdowns. Your side blamed the President for banning flights from China, so its fair to assume that wouldn’t have happened under a Dem administration. Which would have worsened the situation. Plus, the Blue Guvs have really mishandled their situation
Even the CDC admits it doesn’t know the exact numberS
“Accuracy of Data
CDC does not know the exact number of COVID-19 illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths for a variety of reasons.“
EOL and Late Stages conditions Have criteria, think of terminal illness(es), hospice-type conditions. Your Uncle does not appear to be in that classification. So if he contracted the virus and died from it, yeah, its a CV death. Same for my 70 year old cousin who has asthma and a prior heart attack. He had it in April. And had it killed him, then yes, too
But contrast that with my neighbors situations. When someone is terminal, etc Yet tested positive then a “CV death” distorts the stats IMO there’s a big difference when a virus kills healthy or semi heathy, and/or younger people like Spanish Flu did.
Btw, The age charts show dramatic increases in deaths 2/3 Are 65+. Combined with comorbidities, more reasons to take the death count with a grain of salt and look beneath the stats, even if they weren’t open to question
