Thanks - enjoyed watching that. Paulding is one of my favorite players from the last 30 years I've been following MU basketball. Always gracious, hard-working, quality person while at MU besides a great player and seems to have done well with his basketball career.
It was interesting to hear him talk about his focus on making the NBA. I always thought he was as good of a player as Dwayne Wade, and he certainly outplayed him in the Marquette vs MU game they showed a clip of. Some of making the NBA is luck. At the time, it was said he didn't have as good of handles as Dwayne Wade, and maybe that was true, but he was certainly his equal as an athlete, scorer, and 3 point shooter; both guys were about the same height and weight at the shooting guard spot.
It will be interesting to see what he does with his life following his basketball career. I didn't know his wife was from MU until he mentioned it in this video. Maybe he'll come back some day?
