As others have noted, ideas have consequences in the real world. Nietzsche's idea of the Übermensch inspired Hitler. Hitler, of course, ran with it adding his own idea of lives not worth living. Those ideas played a significant role in the 6 million people killed in concentration camps.

This woman's perverted idea that killing her son was a good thing because now in a better place played a significant role in enabling her to murder him.

Tragically, the pro-abortion crowd's rationalization that it is "my body, my choice" plays a significant role in the deliberate, often brutal killing of 10 times as many as Hitler killed in his concentration camps in the US alone.

Ideas have consequences indeed.
