If I don't want to physically go inside Costco

(or any other retailer) b/c they require wearing a mask, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm trying to punish or protest them (per the actual definition). At that time, it could just be an inconvenience. Many retailers offer multiple ways of shopping without having to physically go inside as well. The decisions could widely vary for the individual, but temporarily choosing not to physically go inside doesn't automatically equate to a boycott.
