The difference being when it is given and in what dosages. Hydroxy is not a cure but it is definitely a tool that should be included in treatment options.

I suspect there are two groups pushing to see hydroxy discredited. First are the anti-Trumpers, he came out and supported the drug so they reflexively denounce it. They are fools and can be dismissed. But the second is the one I suspect is leading the charge now, big pharma. Hydroxy is a generic that has been on the market forever and is dirt cheap. If it turns out to be useful there is no money to be made. But if a new drug can be found then pharma can make millions from it.

As usual just follow the money.
