Real heat has been directed China’s way.
There is no way this rapid expansion outside its borders was the result of anything but a decision to let it happen.
Nothing like this happens by accident in a totalitarian regime.
And politicians of both parties always seek to consolidate power, gain votes and exert authority when the opportunity arises. That is what is going on here. The health of the population is tangential.
