Went to the grocery store tonight - it was pathetic

The main reason for going was to get a package of chicken breasts for a recipe me and the kids decided on for Mother's Day dinner. We also needed a few other things for the dinner.

I have never seen a major grocery store (Kroger) more empty of food. There was virtually no meat. No chicken breasts, no steaks, just ground beef, ground turkey and various sausages and kielbasa.

No eggs
No strawberries or blueberries
No green bell peppers
My preferred milk was sold out, bought a different option so that was fine
Only one brand of sliced mozzarella available - the expensive stuff
No diet cream soda or Pepsi One
