As a professional journalist, I'm stunned by the lack of professionalism and accountability in this generation of the media. It's truly an embarrassment. Everybody thinks their opinion is so terribly important that they put that above the news and try to destroy anybody who doesn't politically agree with them. Opinions have no place outside of an editorial page and should be completely kept out of news coverage - even if it is thinly disguised in some stupid question like this clown asked. I had an aging journalism instructor at Mizzou who said opinions are like a**holes and I don't particularly want to see yours.
