What I recall about that

And I was a sophomore in high school, is that it happened over Xmas break when we didn’t have a game for a couple weeks. It was only a flesh wound, so Stipo didn’t miss any games. His first game back, we played Oral Roberts on the road, which was fortunate because it was a highly Christian crowd and they were supportive of Stipo when he entered the game (I think he was not in the starting lineup). He caught a lot of grief playing on the road the rest of that season, but not that game, which was probably comforting.
