TARGETING

1. For a player to be disqualified for targeting, the instant replay official must confirm that all aspects of targeting are
present. Unless all aspects of targeting are confirmed, the ruling on the field must be overturned. Replay can only
confirm or overturn a targeting foul.

2. When targeting is confirmed, players must leave the playing enclosure as part of the ejection procedure. For
targeting only, the committee should consider alternatives to the current ejection process (e.g., player remains in the
team area but is unable to participate).
