What are you not understanding? There were 12k deaths OVER 1 YEAR! There are 45k deaths in a month now from COVID. People were not dying at anywhere close to the same rates to where that action was needed. Now, if 45k people died in a month from swine flu, more drastic measures would've been taken.

So, are you saying Obama did a better job, because H1N1 had far fewer deaths without shutting down?? Please answer this question..
