Trump criticizes number of deaths from H1N1

Trump tweeted yesterday that it was a disaster that 17k people died from H1N1, due to incompetence. First, he’s lying about the number. It was 12k. Second, look at the audacity of this statement. Trump said he accepts “no responsibility at all”, while saying the deaths from swine flu were directly due to incompetence. Also, deaths under Coronavirus are triple that, and show no signs of letting up. Somehow, his supporters would agree he is doing a much better job, with triple the deaths in two months (swine flu was over a year).

But his supporters love things like this , because it underlines his main theme. No matter how incompetent you are , you should always have the right to point at a black man and blame him. That’s why his supporters are always angry. They’re still upset the United States had a black president.
