Do you think that would have translated into sustained success?

What if Dan Devine never left, won the Big 8 and even a NC? His successor kept it going another 10-15 years. Are we a Michigan or Ohio State type program today where fan support is great and winning is not just expected but demanded?

Is that a pipe dream or are we just not a football school no matter what?
