They have yet to identify the sailor. Was he actually young?

Did he have underlying conditions?
In a crew of 5000 there are bound to be a few nearing retirement. Granted that does not make they old by normal standards but a few will be approaching the danger ages.
In a crew that big there will definitely be some with respiratory or heart issues that put them in the crosshairs at well.
There are also simple outliers. I did not say no one young or healthy dies just that almost no one young or healthy does. Even the seasonal flu kills a handful of healthy people each year.
