"in terms of being a relevant and nationally competitive basketball program I think the window of opportunity has closed on that". I wish it wasn't spot on, but I'm afraid it may very well be. Obviously things can change quickly with some good recruits or an experienced team of average players, but it probably isn't happening under CM.
