What is known is that the virus cannot survive as long on surfaces in extreme dry heat. So that does lessen the threat of spread in those cases where people contract the virus by touching some common surface. Since it's not the primary way of spread, heat may eliminate some spreading but not that much especially since indoor environments do not experience the same dry heat as outdoors. But it's not going away just because Spring has arrived in parts of the country. As long as there are non-immune hosts available and plenty of infected people in contact with these people, it will spread.
