I am saddened by those who view their relationship with God in this way. We are certainly told to remember the Sabbath and to not forgo the assembly of believers. We are also told to honor authority (all authority comes from God) and also to help our fellow man in their earthly needs. That would include working to not infect and not pass along disease recklessly.

It is indeed a tough time for many as they wrestle with their spiritual and temporal obligations. I believe this example is not a helpful one for those of faith.
