They look lower up until now than what has been reported there:

For instance, they're showing an increasing rise in daily deaths until it peaks on April 12th at 2,000 per day, which is significantly higher than the existing data up until now.
But the US already had 1,970 deaths yesterday, and 1,622 so far today.
Of course the official CDC numbers are usually lower as they said that there is about a 2 week lag in reporting from some of the hospitals.
I guess the billions in government can't keep up with the efficiency of some private website.
