When it gets down to the final 8, we are all going to know who they are, then the serious guessing commences as to the final order.
Since it is largely a subjective list, who know how he will value athletes who basically competed as individuals, like Cox, Askren and Karissa, versus athletes in more of a team setting, like Chelsea, Sophie, Chase Daniel, and Brad Smith.
Those 7 should be in the top 8, in some order. How Matter ranks them is anyone’s guess. You could make a case for any of them to be #1, I suppose. I just can’t imagine it will be Daniel though.
So who else deserves to be in the top 10?
