Smith didn't play QB. Chase has 218 attempts in 10 seasons. Gabbert's only completed 56% of his passes and has 1 less INT to TDs. That's bad QB play there. Obviously Franklin and Mauk never sniffed the league. Lock is more Odom's QB than Pinkel's and jury is still out.
