I think it's time for those of us on anonymous message board

to admit that we really don't know what is going on with the virus.

There are geniuses who say that the government is tyranny (about everything) and they have no right to force us not to do whatever we wish to do. To go where we wish to go and congregate with as many people as we choose.

Open everything up, we'll be fine.

Maybe.

Others want stuff shut down. For another couple weeks or a couple months or the rest of the year.

Like this is the black death (no, not african american death, the black death).

On one hand we hear that NYC is in turmoil. Not enough masks, ventilators, beds, medical staff or gloves. It's trump's fault, of course.

And we hear that chicago and detroit and new orleans and florida are the next in line.

Then we hear that U of Pgh thinks they have a cure. A doctor in france thinks he has a cure, or a vaccine. Others around the world are working 24/7.

Sweden is doing pretty well. That is a mystery as they are in a cooler climate in which the virus is supposed to thrive. But it's not. Why?

We hear of the coming together of many facets of our nation, helping with food delivery, donations and just human kindness... at the same time we see video of some ass hole licking the taco shells at taco bell. And we hear of people spitting and coughing on supermarket produce. And i posted two articles earlier about other butt heads doing what they can to intentionally spread the disease. But keeping them away from the public is tyranny and as The Idiot would likely say, "There is no law against that".

Or something.

I don't pretend to know. The simultaneous avalanches of good news and bad are tough to navigate.

Should we quarantine nebraska and north dakota because NYC is a mess? Is quarantine the best way to make sure nebraska and north dakota don't become NYC?

I don't know.

And what can we even believe? One of the idiots suggested i do my own research to find out. As he did i'm sure, by going to china (after learning the language), talking with people in hospitals, patients and medical personnel, examining the causes of shortages and of course to develop my own model for the spread and speed of the virus. I should have that done by tomorrow about noon.

Can we believe the press?
Can we believe the politicians?
Can we believe twitter, instagram and Facebook?

I trust president trump to do what he thinks is best for the nation. He may or may not be right, but i don't think he is motivated by politics.

I cannot say the same for adam sniff, The Chest, chucky schemer, the washington post, the NYtimes, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR and the friggin communist chinese.

Those who snipe from the safety of anonymous message boards may find it slightly more difficult if they had to actually implement their rage filled opinions and the fate of hundreds of thousands of american lives hung in the balance.

I don't know the answer. If you think you do, you're a liar or a fool.

You can choose which.
