Here's what I understand about coronavirus. The coronavirus is known as the common cold. This "Covid19" virus has a nanoparticle (incredibly thin) outer membrane (hydrophobic). So water doesn't effect much, hence the use of fat, soap etc. Simple soap and water hand washing disrupts/destroys the layer. The fat in soap is like a magnet, so Covid19 is a "wimp. Once the nucleic acids leak out it's already game over for Covid19 - DEATH - it doesn't make a comeback. FINITO
It's been known for quite some time that antibacterial soaps etc. showed no meaningful difference in disease prevention versus regular soap and water. Alcohol does almost nothing to viruses. The alcohol percentage would need to be like 80% and you'd need to soak your hands in it for quite some time. Regular soap and water is great.
As far as not getting the virus:
Covid19 (coronavirus) needs an enzyme to enter one's body (sans an open wound deal). That enzyme is called ACE2. The enzyme lines your lungs and the conjunctiva (eyeballs and inner eyelid. So that is it's doorway.

Yep A antigens prevent the the virus from entering the body. It was even thought that it may be 100% protection because the enzyme was completely locked up with a protein. But further studies demonstrate it affects something else
downstream.
Anyway, folks with B or O blood types are significantly protected. While folks with A or AB are not.
BUT there are proteins in foods that mimick A antigens!!!. One protein is found in silver dollar mushrooms, soybeans, fava beans, great northern beans. It's the stronger protein.
The weaker protein is found in garlics, onions, shallots and leeks.
I already eat onion every day for other health reasons. I've recently added great northern beans. I recommend those two if you don't know what to add. They're compatible with most everyones particular genetic type, universal foods if you will. The sugars in onions can give some significant gas, so maybe cut back if needed. Spreading it throught the day sounds like it would be best. I wouldn't nuke your food either, the high heat could destroy the proteins.
Even folks with B & O blood type (that already produce A antigens) can still buy some "extra insurance" by adding these two proteins. You already know what age does.
