Those statements are designed to cause fear and drive hysteria.
IF the Germans had developed the atomic bomb they would have won WWII.
IF Jack Clark had caught that pop up the Cards would have won the 85 series.
IF my father had been a transvestite hooker and my mother a crack whore my nickname would be Ace.
We have destroyed our economy to head off the pandemic. But you keep pumping the hysteria Truman it is always helpful in a time of crisis.
