t if the new cases, active cases, new deaths and total deaths keep growing exponentially we could get there in a few months or so.

A little further back on the curve we had 12 new deaths on March 15th, 18 on the 16th & it has been growing exponentially ever since. We're more than 10 times those numbers in 15 days. If the exponential increase stopped and we kept growing at that pace we would be up over 2,270 new deaths per day. If it stopped growing completely at that level it would take us 44 days to reach 100,000 more than we currently have.
Seems plausible if they don't finds some better treatment options & are able somehow to start doing mass immunizations... or the warm weather stops the rapid spread.
