I'm not sure recovered = recovered in this case

I've tried to find what is considered recovered on the various sites that provide statistics. I suspect it means you are no longer deemed a threat to others regardless of how well you feel.

You point is well taken, there are clearly lots of cases that have never been reported and the individual is fine now. In the first part of the spread, only severe cases were being reported. Of course now, the possibility of corona virus is on the mind of anyone that even sneezes and testing is far more common for anyone with the described CV symptoms.
