Had me try an diagnose it on a video call.
I had her b/f tap on the headlight relay in the fuse panel. No luck. I had him PULL the headlight relay. No luck. They disconnected the battery until she drove home about an hour later.
I start working the problem. Headlights go off/on with the switch., but the DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (which are the headlights but run through a resistor to dim them a bit) are on even with the car shut off and ke removed.
Begin researching and never found a fuse for it, but did locate the DRL Module on the driver's side kick panel WAYYYYY up behind the dashboard. It's hotter than hell. Unplug the harness connector and the lights go out.
And then I found $5.
Oh, and our refrigerator is on the fritz. 18 month old LG. Freezing like a mofo but the refrigerator is currently sitting at 51 degrees. Guy is supposed to come Saturday. Bought a compact fridge a Lowe's yesterday for essentials.
It was more than $5.
