I wonder if every flu death this year was the flu

or if some were from CV?

I don't really know how that works, if someone dies of the flu were they tested for the flu and came back positive? I assume every person that dies doesn't have an autopsy. I've seen a lot of people speculate they had CV months ago. Is it possible deaths attributed to the flu are actually people who have had CV?
