that the programs that really figured out how to manage it to their benefit would be able to elevate the level their teams to compete with anyone in the US. I still believe that.
For instance, I'm not clear with regard to the limitations, if any, with respect to active contact with players in the portal. Likewise, are there limits to the number of places they can visit during the decision process. Finally, as with the 'blue blood' programs, if a mid level program can develop a storyline that they take players off of the portal and succeed at getting them to Europe, D League or, God forbid, the NBA, it would be a huge point of leverage to market to the portal participants.
