What specific "special interests" are you referencing. And by the by, THIS Congress with Senate Leader McConnell is the least active in history. The Dem House have presented over 200 bills to his desk which have not seen a vote. Sometimes you need to get things done and this is how it happens. The GOP has done that FOREVER. Again - specifics ??
