Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa have a total of less that 200 reported cases and four deaths. That is a total of 14M people and the economies of those states have been halted for the foreseeable future for a total of 200 cases of an illness that currently has a fatality rate of less than 2%.

At what point is the cure worse than the actual disease?

Are amputating our hand in response to a broken finger?
