the flew in the US alone and Flu deaths dwarf the worldwide Covid19 deaths so why are we running around like chickens with our heads cut off over this but do nothing of the sort with the flu?
or for that matter, 40,000 people die every year in traffic accidents. should we ban driving b/c every last person is sacred or is that a risk of a free (or nominally free anyway) society?
there are health costs associated with shutting down the economy that very well might exceed the threat of Covid 19.
