Is the grocery situation really that bad?

Think about it.

We are a culture that eats out. We have been told (now it is true) that eating out will end for a while. We have also been told we may need to stay home for two weeks.

So...you get a double whammy...you need more food to eat than usual and you need it longer than usual. We are getting a massive shift of food from food service to retail. On top of that, people did all of their shopping on Friday and Saturday instead of randomly over the week.

So..is it hysteria...or is it just a combination of demand factors
