they no longer have retirement pensions.

In the old days you couldn't "cash out" your pension in the middle of your career.

Basically these same people dumb enough to do it have $30K in credit card debt among car debt, etc. and will never pay it back into their 401K. They will be a further drag on retirement.

So when they get to retirement they will be ones wanting to take more from other people
