administration cut financial aid to foreign countries for infectious disease containment, including China. My question is: Why do we need to fund disease containment programs in a country as rich as China? Can't they pay for their own fvcking programs? This country needs to get back to manufacturing critical products such as pharmaceuticals domestically so we're not at the mercy of enemies (yes, enemies) like China.
