clinic who begged a woman going in not to do it. The woman said that she had been arrested and that the judge told her that if she had the child they would keep her in jail much longer. If she had an abortion she could get an early release.
My friend said that she would take care of the baby until she got out, and the woman took her up on the offer.
It turned out that she had twins, putting a little extra strain on my friend and her husband. They had other children but took care of the twins for her. In fact, the woman decided not to take them and my friends adopted the twins.
