flu and the 1st case in the US was in April 2009.

On October 24, 2009 Obama declared it a national emergency. by that time over 1,000 US persons had died.

although to his credit his Sec of Health and Human Services declared a public health emergency on April 26, 2009.

The difference between me and you is that i'm not sitting around blaming Obama.
