It is still stunning to me how bad this season was, after 4 straight NCAA bids. Using the RPI numbers from yesterday, which will change slightly as the conference tournaments finish up and the NCAA tourney runs its course:
9-22 record
#177 RPI rank
26th toughest overall SOS
43rd toughest non conference SOS
0-6 against top 25 RPI teams
1-10 against top 50
3-15 against top 100
7 losses to teams with a 100+ RPI
3 losses to teams with a 200+ RPI (UMKC, Illinois, New Mexico)
Our 9 wins were against these teams, with their RPIs noted:
35 LSU
67 Georgia
85 SLU
128 Vandy
214 Western Illinois
300 Ole Miss
300 Ole Miss
300 Ole Miss
337 SIU-E
