induced by worldwide pandemic. This morning’s stock opening should give further stark evidence. The medical impact of this virus will be interesting to gauge. Is the true impact one of the health of those with the virus or rather one of system capacity/overload? And can any system be built to withstand such a global event?
Swine flu didn’t have nearly this economic impact and the feared health impact thankfully never really materialized. We shall see with COVID-19.
