nominees during a primary, what if biden drops out or drops dead before he's nominated? Or after....

Would whoever is in second place be declared the winner?
Or would they have to redo the process?

Does bernice anders think that if biden goes away that bernice would be the nominee despite not having the requisite number of delegates to be the nominee?
