1. They are not sick
2. How exactly is the media reporting this as a risk. Most I have seen is bringing experts on to show various scenarios, most of which are not that dire. And then reporting the various actions of government and private enterprises that are changing the way business and gatherings are done everywhere...and reporting the fact that certain industries (related to travel and energy mainly for now) are in crisis mode due to a huge demand drop.
