angry they will ignore it.
Your home is safe from THE PLAGUE. One of only several in the area. The home is strong, sturdy and can withstand an assault by anything short of tanks and jets.
Your family is huddled inside, safe and secure.
But the neighbor kid comes to the door. He is infected with the highly contagious disease. He is a cute kid, a nice young boy of nine that your kids have played with for years. But he is infected and already has the signs of the almost always fatal disease in ugly blisters and lesions on his skin.
He begs you to let him in. He cries, he pleads. He wants you to save his life. You have a limited amount of vaccine. Enough for you and your family only. But as of now, your family is uninfected and largely unaffected by the disease.
Let him in? Have a pact with humanity?
The price this time for virtue signaling is the lives of you and your family.
Whadya think?
